SAI ChemPartners Pvt. Ltd. has become a distributor of orthokeratology lenses and “OKVision Miracle” soft bifocal lenses for myopia control in the Republic of India.

OKVision signed a distribution agreement with Global Eyecare Center chain of eye clinics, that will be selling and marketing orthokeratology lenses in the Republic of the Philippines.

OKVision will attend the 17th International Myopia Conference, which will take place this September 12-15 in Tokyo. We will run a workshop on orthokeratology as well as exhibit all our latest solutions for myopia control.

We are certain that this is only one of the first milestones for OKVision in the Philippines and Asia-Pacific region.

The 4^th International Congress of Scleral Contacts (ICSC) will be held this July 24^th -25^th, 2019 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

At the two-day conference, topics such as new sclera research technologies, the impact of sclera on lens selection, the choice of care system for fogging lenses, the use of toric peripheral haptic, new ways to evaluate sclera, diseases of the ocular surface, etc. will be discussed.

ICSC organizers invite leading experts to conduct interactive presentations and workshops. The speakers will be Thomas P. Arnold, OD, FSLS, Melissa Barnett, OD, FAAO, FSLS, FBCLA, Daddi Fadel, Dip. Optom., FSLS, Langis Michaud OD, MSc, FAAO, FSLS and many others.

Dr. Elena Belousova, Ph.D., a senior lecturer of the Academy of Medical Optics and Optometry, an ophthalmologist and vice-president of the Euro & Austral-Asian Scleral Lens Academy will take part in the discussion panel devoted to high order optical aberrations.

OKVision and  the Academy of Medical Optics and Optometry will participate in the Asia Pacific Optometric Congress, which will be held in  Manila from June 17^th to 20^th at the SMX Convention Center.

During congress, representatives of the academy will present  an abstract “Correction of progressive myopia by bifocal soft contact lenses: change in accommodation and axial length”.
